Given the nature of our works and increasing requirements from both clients and the Health and Safety executive, Health and safety has become one of the most important areas of our business and one where our experience and expertise can actually win us contracts. All of our engineers attend basic safety training courses and hold Current Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) cards. All Engineers using Ladders have attended and hold certificates in "Working safely at Heights". This is a CAI recognised course which specifically concentrates on Works and procedures which are relevant to our type of works. All engineers carry full body harnesses and lanyards to ensure safe working procedures can be maintained. These are serviced, maintained and replaced in compliance with current legislation and manufacturers guidelines. Prior to commencment of works on any site we prepare a Health and Safety method statement and risk assessment, In addition where needed we can provide any further statements, certifications or record sheets and if necessary we have in the past employed the services of a Health and Safety consultant to ensure client needs are met. We have now also attained Safe Contractor status which shows our ongoing commitment to ensure safe working practices.
